Ansichten einer Flaneuse,
the neighborhood as a book – the view of a flaneuse
This project explores how to visualize a neighborhood without relying on images and clichés. It examines the personal projections and emotions evoked when entering urban spaces, asking if it's possible to understand and communicate the complexities of these realities. By considering the neighborhood as a book we aim to capture the essence of Augsburg Oberhausen through the lens of a flaneuse.
Awarded the Kulturpreis Bayern 2021, this initiative invites us to perceive our surroundings as dynamic narratives waiting to be explored.
Developed as a master's thesis at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg in the Transformation Design program.
